Hello there, my friend.
How are you today?
I'm sorry it's been so long;
life's been crazy these days.
There hasn't been a day gone by
without you constantly on mind.
I think about you all the time;
you're always in my dreams and prayers.
I miss you oh, so dearly,
and so I thought I'd write this rhyme.
It took me five days nearly,
but finally, here it is…
MelMel these words of yours, “But you’ve heart eyes, they saw past my outer shell,” are words that touch deeply. Oh, to have heart eyes, to have heart understanding as it were, how much better this old world of ours would become. So many hurts and pains and into closed hard cased shells for protecting of our vulnerable sides we many the times find ourselves and oh so longing for one with “heart eyes,” to come and enter in the seaside where we are, rolling amongst the waves and sometimes all washed up, cast aside and sun parched. Then someone special enters, that one with “heart eyes,” and picking us up, sees that life within that shell encasement. All of a sudden no longer one simply washed up, rather a treasured and valued life. Life Flows on. Connie
this is so poignant and even more so today..stunning
